This is the king that tops all others Upon entering BENIHANA it seems quite normal, but this restaurant, as the night passes seems to have happened 100s of years ago in your memory, because it is so good. This restaurant tops off all others, best to second position Au Pied de Cochon in Paris. It is without any doubt the king of all food. Go here, I travelled the world for this, and so should you! Expensive but good There is (or was) one in Machida, too. The food was excellent, but pricey. Fancy western table settings (no chopsticks visible and we didn't see anyone ask for them). My impression is that the Japanese dine here to pretend they are eating American (or it is trendy to be seen here), and Americans (or other tourists) dine here because of its reputation. I could be wrong. [02 Oct 2005 13:35:27]
