Description

This restaurant provides an excellent buffet at lunchtime and possibly the evening as well, even during the weekend, for about ¥1000. The buffet comprises Japanese and saffron rice, naan bread, daal, veg curry, and a meat curry. There are also pickles, popadoms, salads and desserts.

The patronage is always a mix of natives, gaijin and even East Indians, confirming the authenticity and reasonable quality of the food. It varies slightly in heat and flavour but I consider this to be a great asset since there is no rigid formula tying the chefs down.

The restaurant forms part of a larger chain of restaurants, but it certainly does not feel like McDonalds.

Indian Tiger brand beer is available.
