Good food, good people, great times
We tried to eat at many different places in the Mahe. This one tops them all.

AMAZING
I have just come back from the Seychelles and loved it. The highlight was dinner at the Boat House and the staff there.

One of the few places we visited with real atmosphere and vibrance. Tuesday to Sunday is an all you can eat buffet with 25 dishes (ok a lot are salad, but they are delicious). Cost is 115 rupees each (approx £12). Monday is BBQ night. Well worth visiting.    [02 Jun 2004 07:24:21]

Highlight
Elizabeth at the Fisherman's Cove Le Meridien recommended this local favorite. The buffet was varied with fresh local ingredients. Loved the mango salad, cool, sweet and spicy! The grilled fish was the best I have tasted. Service was caring, friendly, and professional. They will call you a taxi if you need. Exceptional!!
The boathouse was simply amazing. The only down side to the experience is the knowledge of leaving the Seychelles and not the luxury of going back on a regular basis.

Manager Barry and his staff make you feel as though you're the only client that matters, with the service standards second to none. This is by far the best food for value. Great work, keep it up guys.    [31 Mar 2006 06:11:08]

One of the best food places ever opened on Mahe. Fantastic creole food. Taste better every time you go, if that is even possible!
One of the greatest highlights of our visit.

Boat House - Yha man!
If we can suggest any restaurant with authentic creole food around Beau Vallon Bay, than it has to be the Boat House, the one and only! Fantastic tasty food, relaxed - cruisy atmosphere and great, friendly staff!

We spent our best dinners at the boat house and it was great pleasure meeting Steven, Tony & the rest of the crew: and of course our most time favourite; Sylvie! One day we will be back, so you better start chilling the yummy white wine and a bunch of beers!    [30 Jul 2007 14:32:07]
