Good sandwiches. Brave New Deli has got some pretty great sandwiches.. I love their 'cactus sauce'. Sometimes the service isn't the best, but never unfriendly. Nice place for a quick bite. [07 Jan 2004 08:23:07]

YUMMY! I am a Brave New Deli addict. This restaurant is inexpensive but not cheap (the quality of the ingredients is always good, from the soup to the sandwiches). I love their variations on the Reuben, especially the Steelworker and the Georgia Peach. Definitely get a cup of soup, it's always homemade and tastes great. Lunch specials are fantastic. Staffed by friendly and cute undergraduate girls. Go for the food - this is not a date restaurant, no ambience to speak of. [01 Feb 2005 18:12:39]

Average I found the food about average, and a little pricey. The service was somewhat rushed in an unfriendly manner. And the staff seemed more interested in their hair and cosmetic skills than friendly customer liason skills. Not overall impressed with this place. Dagwood's is alot better. [03 Mar 2005 09:09:21]

Poor Service The worst service I've ever experienced from a manager and staff. The food is good but not worth the hassle of dealing with such an incompetent staff. [13 Jan 2006 00:25:51]

The ultimate dive cafe in B-town Love the food here - from the homemade soups to the sandwiches (best Philly Cheesesteak in town) and the fries are always crispy.
Cute girls with no apparent table waiting skills 'man' the counter. What they lack in customer service, they make up for in their, um, perky appearance.
There is no atmosphere here. They haven't changed a thing since the place opened as the Melting Pot back in the early 1990s. [18 Jan 2006 11:54:01]

I love the food there. I used to have food from there delivered frequently, until I had an incorrect order. Whomever I spoke with claimed to be the manager/owner. She refused to give me her name, and would not offer me any options. I had simply called to have the few dollar difference credited on my next order. I finally said I would not come back. She informed me that she wasn't interested in my business. Previous experiences with staff/service were good, however. [19 Jan 2006 14:37:45]
