The Best of the Best The texture and the taste of MFC's frozen custard is the best that I've had. If you live within an 45-60 miles, plan a trip and take some friends that you want to make smile.
I used to eat at least a pint every 2-3 days and I'd still be doing so if I didn't now live in Florida.
The model trains that are running on the tracks hanging from the ceiling make the place a delight to visit. [13 Aug 2002 22:38:48]

to the king of custard I have worked there and I have enjoyed a dish or two but it's been two years since I've eaten this custard. I was feeling really bad one day and I wanted some ice cream and I just happened to remember the custard shop. I sent my mom to get me some custard and it was the best thing I ate all week. I am not just say that because I worked there I am saying it because after two years of not being able to eat this dish it had a new effect on me; it's just great. [21 Aug 2002 21:02:37]

Great Custard but dismal atmosphere There's no comparison to Dairy Queen (the only other multi-location frozen custard - if you call call it that - vendor in the Northern VA area). The custard is superb. Too bad the inside store looks like a Mom & Pop store with wasted space, sodas in a oversized vending fridge, and model cars stacked here and there for sale. This place needs a decorator! [01 Apr 2003 16:04:55]

Since I grew up and lived in Milwaukee, it was a pleasant suprise to find that famous custard right here in Virginia where I now reside. As a kid and adult, I had the luxury of being able to enjoy Leon's, Kopps and Gilles on hot summer days. The good news is that Milwaukee Frozen Custard is the "Real McCoy," and every bit as good as the custard I enjoyed so much in Milwaukee. [30 Jun 2003 22:50:55]
