Authentic German Food The Alpine Delicatessen offers a wide variety of Authentic European groceries and cuisine. The delectable selection of meats and breads is enough to tickle anyone's tastebuds. The staff is not only knowledgeable about the product but also courteous and helpful even during the midday rush.
This restaurant is a must see for anyone with German/Austrian heritage who is looking for an authentic meal at a good price. For the sweet tooth, there is a wide variety of delectable European candies and prepackaged desserts.
And for the over 21 customers the deli has a wide selection of European wines and beers whose quality is hard to match anywhere within the city limits. All in all a good choice for a deli style sandwich you won't soon forget, and don't forget to check out the European groceries while you wait. A word to the wise this is not a sit down restaurant, if you plan on partaking in a delectable creation you better have somewhere else to eat it. The deli is ideal for picnics and special meat orders but not a sit down event. [11 Jun 2001 18:02:56]

Great German Deli I recently discovered this deli a few months back, and try to get back there at least once every couple of weeks. The food is authentic German, with a great variety of wurst, cheeses, breads, beer, wine, etc. They also feature three aisles of imported German wares (magazines, packaged foods, movies, treats, nick-knacks). Very limited seating, but a nice quiet place for lunch. Only I've ever had better was a little restaurant in Spangle, WA that does a once a year German feast. [08 May 2003 22:42:40]

Authentic--makes me home sick One of my favorite places to shop. Takes me back to my childhood (born, raised and educated in Germany). The folks are nice; the owners, especially Werner Sr. is proud of his business and I usually take the opportunity to keep my German at least somewhat fluent. It's clean, has a great selection, highly recommend it. Really no flaws. [11 Sep 2003 18:27:17]
